This afternoon we went to Te Tuhi. we went when room 5 got back from the bus. We had to go and sit down on the bus. Then we arrived to Te Tuhi. we saw a bed, some brooms. And poles. We had our teacher her name was Salome. She showed us around Te Tuhi. we moved to the school programs area. So we saw a tapa cloth we were feeling it. Some were hard, some were soft. Then after that we had to make a design of our Tapa cloth. We had a piece of paper, we crunched it up. Then we had to uncrushed it up. Then we had to draw our symbols on our other paper. Then we had to write our four favorite symbols. When we rote our favorite symbols we had to colour it up. Then when we finished that we had to paint the whole paper. So it can be like a tapa cloth. Then when we had to paint the whole paper we had to paint with the little paint brushes, they made big drips off paint. Then when we did that we had to wash our hands and line up outside. The next thing was we went to see the showers. There were four showers. We had to walk around them until at the end off the shower maze. Then we moved to the next one it was a  area. It was a area with newspaper and a tv we had to learn about what is wrong in the country. So we heard about it. Then next was we watched a movie. It had sacks in it. There were heaps off sacks. They were saying words in their culture. It ended when we got there then we had  to watch the beginning. Then we went back to the mat to say goodbye to salome. We went back on the school bus and went back to the school.
