This is my Tukutuku:
The black represents darkness
The white represents light
The blue is Ranginui
The green is Papa
The four designs on the sides are Rūaumoko, Tāwhirimātea,
Rongomatāne and Tangaroa
Rongomatāne and Tangaroa
The Black in the middle is Tānemahuta
We done these Tukutuku because of how our environment
is falling to ashes and how we will die soon. What we are
saying is that we are telling you to help instead of making
all of us die. This Tukutuku is based on Papa and Rangi and
the gods are slowly dying.

First we had to do it on a piece of paper and draw what
design we would do. There were little boxes that could fit
x’s in it. Once we done it on a piece of paper, we had to
draw the designs on the Tukutuku panel. When you’re done,
show it to a kaiako then we will be given strips to fit it
into the holes.
