Gala day

On sunday we had a gala day, a gala day is where we have
3 games and at the end off the last game we had prize giving.
The rewards will only go to the teams who won all off there
games. My clubroom is called Pakuranga jaguars. My team’s
name is the under 11 Raptors. If we weren’t there at the gala
day we weren't allowed at our next game on saturday. Our 3
games was at papatoetoe panthers club room. Our first game
me and my team went against Papatoetoe Panthers. Our
first game started at 10:30 So we trained until our first game
was on. We practiced our tackling so we would get a better
defense, we practiced our passing too so we could make
more yards to there tryline. When the horn sounded off we
stomped our way too field 2. When their team and our team
came on the field the team captains had a game off rock paper
scissors. If we win then we could choose a choice too kick off
or receive. When we won the game we decided to kick off.
The first try they got it but we had better luck in the second
half, i got no tries in there but we still won. Our last two
games we went against two rewa team’s. We made our way
too field one for our next game against Manurewa Marlins.
I had to come by the sideline so that i could have a rest. We
did have the goddess luck in the first half, but the second
half we went rusty but we still won. The People in my team
were getting cocky because we won 2 games. We went
against the same team but different people. We had a big
feed before our last game. We had a little practice before our
game. We got to the field. We kicked off again so that we
could have a better defense. I got the last try in the second
half. It was almost over and we had got the ball out off their
hands before they could get the try, that’s when the game
ended and we won our last game. We were on our way too
prize giving so that we could get our prizes. My twin brothers
team was their to, he said to me that he won all off his games.
prize giving was over and all the people went home.

How to be a smart learner

We have learnt to be smart learners with our teacher who
teaches us to be a smart learner. Her name is whaea Heather.
She was our cybersmart teacher. She teaches us how to use
our computer, she teaches us the main parts off how to use it.
She teached the year four’s too blog, she teaches us new key
shortcuts, and she helps us with information about us. She
taught us how to blog positive comments to our buddy class.

I need to ALWAYS remember that when I post on my blog, or comment on someone’s blog, that my comment
includes:

• Positivity. Your comment needs to be positive. Even if there is something that you want to say that is
• negative, find a way to make it positive.
• Correct spelling and punctuation. If your comment is spelt correctly and has the correct punctuation,
• it will make sense and people will know what you are trying to say.
• Ask a question. What question can you ask the person? How can you start a conversation with them?

Burger king and Mcdonalds. My favourite games to play is Fortnite, Call of duty ghosts, and Academia
school simulator. My favourite sports to play is Rugby, Soccer, and Softball. Ko Sheyanne tooku Mama,
ko Tuwhare tooku Papa, ko Sheryl tooku Nana. Ko Manaia tooku Matua keke. Our Whakatauki is
"He reo tupu he reo ora he reo ora he reo tupu". Which means "A growing language is a living
language a living language is a growing language". How well do you know your Te reo maori? what kind
of sports do you like to do? are you an active person? do you want to spread te reo maori around the

Te Puna Wairua was doing a presentation on their pepeha.
There were two people who helped us out doing our pepeha,
and their names were Whaea Waimiria and Whaea Stacey.
They worked for the museum. Our Kaiako name is Whaea Lee
Ann and her daughter was Waimiiria. So we were very lucky
because it was 100% A FREE TRIP!!!. We had choices to do
our pepeha. We could do it on Ao mariko (Virtual Reality),
Hakoritanga (Stop motion), Karetao (Robots), Peita 3D
(Pant 3D), Ārai kākariki (Green screen), Tinkercad. We were
put into groups and we had a rotation for the different activities
we would do for our pepeha on the second day we were
there. We did it too share more things about us and things we
like, we fear, and we dislike. On the second day, we had to
choose one of those activities to do our pepeha on. In my
group i had Tamehana. We had a choice between Virtual
Reality or Tinkercad. We chose Tinkercad. On Thursday at
Taamaki Primary in our classroom Te Puna Wairua we had too
edit the video then we made it on imovie, imovie is where
you can add music, side effects, picture colour, and adding
titles.

I am a smart learner because i know what are restricted sites are.

R. 18:

R18 means that it is suitable for adults only and no kids too
watch or play. The reason Why kids can not see or watch this
content is because It has violence, offensive language, and
sexual content. It also has horror scenes.

This is only suitable to college students and adults only.
This has violence, offensive language, nudity, and horror
scenes. This is not suitable for kids that are under 16. You
have too have a strong parental guidance too play these
games or movies.

R. 13:

This is only suitable for teens, college students and adults.
The only reason why kids under 13 years old can't watch this
is because it has horror scenes and violence. You have too
have a medium parental guidance too play these games or
movies.

Parental guidance means you are asking your parents to watch
a movie or play a game. Sometimes it may have scenes that
may make you cry, they may be violence in some off them.

Explanation off Wording.

Violence- means fighting and shooting.

Nudity- means people are naked in movies and games.

Offensive language- means cursing at other people.

Horror scenes- means that there might be some scary pop
ups when your playing a game or watching a game.

Sexual content- means it is only for Adults.
