Toku Whare moe

In week 5 we have learnt hoW to build a Marae. We had to pick one building on a marae so that we could build it ourselves. Our group was chosen to do the Whare moe. It is a sleeping house.

Today we were doing our Digital footprint. We have to go to our history and find out what we have been on. So on my map you will see I went on Google 2x, Docs 2x, Gmail 2x, Slides 12x.

Kia ora koutou ko Dereon tooku ingoa. Me and my class have been exploring around your blog to see what interesting things you guys have been doing. We will be your new buddy class. we hope you guys have a good experience through all the learning that will challenge you soon. Our classroom is called Te Puna Wairua. We want to ask you some questions, What is your kapa haka group called? What Kaupapa have you researched? and What sports do you like to do? Today we have been commenting to our buddy class, Te Whare Waipaoa. They have just started and will experience great things ahead of them. We will be commenting on there new blogs and they will comment on ours. We have learned interesting things from there blog.

Blog Detective

Today Te puna wairua were instructed to be a blog detective. We had to pick one blog from our class or our buddy class and do some research about them. What they like to do, what they are good at, what are their interests, and what do you know about them. My blog that I was researching on was Leon.

Public and Private information

Today we learned what personal information we would choose to put in which box is the right one and why. that is private information box and public information box. 

When we talked as a class this is our match altogether. This is to test you what personal stuff a should put on and not to put on. we had our own one then we matched it.

Manaiakalani learner quesionnaire

Today in cybersmart I completed my manaiakalani learner questionnaire.
I really liked the question where it asks you if my learning connects to my my culture because it helps me understand more of my culture.

Gala day

On sunday we had a gala day, a gala day is where we have
3 games and at the end off the last game we had prize giving.
The rewards will only go to the teams who won all off there
games. My clubroom is called Pakuranga jaguars. My team’s
name is the under 11 Raptors. If we weren’t there at the gala
day we weren't allowed at our next game on saturday. Our 3
games was at papatoetoe panthers club room. Our first game
me and my team went against Papatoetoe Panthers. Our
first game started at 10:30 So we trained until our first game
was on. We practiced our tackling so we would get a better
defense, we practiced our passing too so we could make
more yards to there tryline. When the horn sounded off we
stomped our way too field 2. When their team and our team
came on the field the team captains had a game off rock paper
scissors. If we win then we could choose a choice too kick off
or receive. When we won the game we decided to kick off.
The first try they got it but we had better luck in the second
half, i got no tries in there but we still won. Our last two
games we went against two rewa team’s. We made our way
too field one for our next game against Manurewa Marlins.
I had to come by the sideline so that i could have a rest. We
did have the goddess luck in the first half, but the second
half we went rusty but we still won. The People in my team
were getting cocky because we won 2 games. We went
against the same team but different people. We had a big
feed before our last game. We had a little practice before our
game. We got to the field. We kicked off again so that we
could have a better defense. I got the last try in the second
half. It was almost over and we had got the ball out off their
hands before they could get the try, that’s when the game
ended and we won our last game. We were on our way too
prize giving so that we could get our prizes. My twin brothers
team was their to, he said to me that he won all off his games.
prize giving was over and all the people went home.
