Kia ora I am a year 8 student that goes to Tāmaki Primary School. Whaea Saf is my Pouako and Matua Andre is my Kapa Haka tutor. I am in a Bi-Lingual classroom called Te Puna Wairua. We speak Māori and English.

sign language week
Yesterday we had a lady that did not speak. Her name was Rachel. She taught us how to do sign language. Sign language week is important for us because some of us can't hear and some can't talk. That's why people learn how to do sign language. She showed us to do the letters of sign language to spell your name and the animals and colours too. She told us the way of the colours and that you do it on your body. The colours green is a your arm, blue is on your blue thing when you look under your hand there is a blue vein under you and then the pink was a cheek is then the red was your chin and there were other ones on there too. It was fun then we had cards that had animals then we had to do the animal signs too but not the real one though its when you do something what an animal does. Then it was morning tea and she wrote on the board said i am going at 11am.

how to make kuati fritters
Ingredients:
- 2 potatoes
- 2 onions
- 1 cup chick pea powder
- Olive oil
- 2 cups of water
- Salt to taste it
- Some black pepper
Materials:
- An Electric pot
- a wooden spatula
- A few Plastic plate
- Some paper towels
- A tea towel
- A knife
- A peeler
- A big bowl
Method:
-Pour the powder in the medium bowl.
-Add water in ½ cup of water in the mixture
-Then mix them all up
-Peel the potatoes and wash them
-Then chop up some pieces off onions
and put them all into the electric frying pan
and then we cook them before we put them out on the plate
-Then we cook some more so we have another one
-We put the food on the plastic plate
-Then we put it on the tea towel
-Then we hand it out to everybody

my test
Today what happened was we were reading school journals. then we had to teach our buddy to ask Questions about in the story we were reading. Then we were doing a form that we had to fill out. Then after when we were finish that we had to go on google maps to find somoa then we had to see where is mount everest. Then after that we put it blog and we had to sit on the mat. We had someone from another class to record us. We saw the chocolate and that was to record us for. We had two big chocolate wrap up there was dark chocolate and anther chocolate. It said how many healthy persent it was it said 90. Thats real healthy. Then we trie. It taste like coffee we had big piece but miss braked little pieces for us to eat. Then we taste the second one then we tried it . it was the best and amazing. It was awesome then when we had to vote for the chocolate heaps of people picked the first chocolate then someone said yukky then everybody laughed then after that we had to stop recording and go back to our work.m
