Trees are important because they can stop

They can make the whole earth survive.
They can make animals survive to.

on remote islands. Today native forest covers only 23 percent
of New Zealand.

The trees are the one that protect people animals and mostly orangutans. The trees help the orangutans. We must save trees for orangutans.

Athletics Day

“Go Dereon” said my mum. When It was runing time my mum cheered for me and my nan recorded me running. When the teacher called out the age of 9 I went down to the field to go race. I was waiting for the people to race so that i could race in. when it was my turn to race Ms Aireen              said 3 2 1 GO!

I ran as fast as i can to win the race. I did the 50 meter race. I came second to last. Then we did the 100 meter race. we had to go to the other side off the field. Ms Aireen said, 3 2 1 GO!

I ran to the end i was hoping that i come first but at the end i came second to last again. Then we did the relays but i wasn't called out for the 9 year olds so i went to my mum. They were racing around the track. Ms aireen said, 3 2 1 GO!

Then they ran around the track they were so fast and so confident. When it was over we did our charts then when  it was finished we went to class to grab our bags and go.

Gorilla inspires me because: they're strong, they have a lot of freedom, there tough then tigers and lions, there To offensive against big animals. They protect the animals in the forest. they give friendship to the animals that don't attack the gorillas. golf range

Golf range

“This is going to be exciting” i said. Me and my family went on the coolest trip ever. We  were playing a game called cricket. It is a game when you count the cars. Its like when a car comes by past, thats one. The vans are 2, the motorbikes are 6. The trailers are 4. But the truck is out that means you have to start all over again.

The score was up to 50. We started when we got to a dark tunnel. When we got out off the tunnel we started counting the cars that are coming past. When we came past a dead tree. It fell of and crashed landed on the road. It happened when we got out off the tunnel. Luckily for me in the car with my parents we dodge it and got through it so that we couldn't go to the golf range. “That was a close one” i mumbled.

My mum got shocked how that tree had fallen off and blocking the way for the drivers to get through. We were half away from getting to golf range. When we made it there we saw a game that was a sniping rifle that was shouting down the animals. We went at the counter to go get our balls for golf range. Golf range is when you have to hit the ball and whoevers the farest wins.

We each got 60 golf balls. We made a deal off if we hit the car on the golf field we get 10 dollars. I hired as far as i can to get the car. By the time we had one golf ball my mum and me got it so we got ten dollars from my mums mate and gave us both 5 dollars. My mate hit far into the trees. I was impressed. Even we paid for an cricket game to. There was an ball machine that launched balls out so we can hit it. I went in the slow one and i got a few balls. Then my my mum didn't want an turn so my mums friend went on the fast one. The balls were coming fast like flash. He got all off them. I never ever seen anyone hit all off the balls like that, when it was finished it was time to go home. When we came past the dead tree we saw a construction lifting the tree up so the cars that came past have to turn around on the other side off the road. After that we went to timezone to play some games and bowling.


There was a mcdonalds by it to. So we had a quick game off bowling. Then we played some games to. We had 30 tokens each and tried to win some tickets. When we came back into the middle we told each other how much we got. I got 40 tickets, my mum got 50, and my mom's friend got 70. I didn't want to spend it so i took the tickets with back home. We went to the mcdonalds next door. Then when i went home it was dark time. So i had to go to sleep for school.

On Monday afternoon we were going to the pools. There were only three classes on the bus. The names of the classes were room 8, room 5, and room 6. We were set to go to the pools. When we got there there were instructors there to help us with swimming. The water was sparkling When we walked past it. The pools that we went to was Lagoon pools in Panmure.

All of us were excited to go in the pools but this time some of us went to the big pool. Some of us were scared because when they hop in they can't touch the ground. So some of us went to the big pool. We had groups to. We were in the orange group with Kat the instructor. Some off room 8 came over to. The water was heated. So we all jumped in the water and went on the black platform.

we were learning about all of the different swimming that the people do in the pools. So first we were learning about floating on our back. We had to make a star with our legs and arms on our back. “Where is the platform” i asked kat. “It's by where my name is” kat told me. Then when i got where the kicking board were i got on the platform.

Then our instructor gave us a high five for swimming. Then we hopped out off the pool. we had to go and get change in the changing room. All off the boys were changing in the boys changing room and the girls were changing in the girls changing room. When all off the boys and girls got out of the changing room we went back on the school bus and went school to have a rest. We were all on the bus. It was the best day ever at the pools with our instructors, but we were at the school and had a rest.

On tuesday when we left for the pools we were going to fly our kites when we get back. Our helper back at class was making one more kite for one more person. When we came back from swimming. we went to fly our kites. We went outside to test our kites to see if they can fly. Heaps of people were excited to fly their kites. To make a kite. You will need collatape, string, kebab sticks, and plastic bag, paper for the string to hold on to. Miss Sharma was recording us flying our kites on the concrete and the on the field.

He didn't have that much kindness in him. They didn't have that much peace the island. It was shortly peace only. Then it was time to jump off the cliff. Then when they jumped off the cliff they were now the turtle and the shark.

In the holidays, me and my family went to have a sleepover at a Marae. It was a sunny and  bright day and it was getting a bit hot too.

Suddenly mum “said that we should go to the pools” mum said. so we decided to take a swim. We packed our swimming togs and our swimming gear. We packed food too in case we got hungry! I particularly like those cheese rolls that mum makes, They are incredibly tasty.

When we had packed our gear and togs we went to the pools. We had a swim in the outside and the inside pool. I did a big splash and we had swim race. My mum won all the races. Then when we went back home, then we had a change. We had a quick shower. And we got change into our normal clothes.

So with all that fun we went up north. It was a 5 hour cold and freezing trip up north. To see our uncle that was up north, he passed away. And it was his birthday to. So it was winterer and it was so cold to. lucky we brought jackets and when we get there and wait until it is dark will light up fireworks. It was a long journey but we all played i spy when we got there and we telled a few jokes then as soon as we arrived there were all our Cousins and Auntys and Uncles. They were happy to see us.

When it was night time everybody was excited that we were going to light the fireworks. There were little fireworks and big fireworks. The little one blasted little flames, but the big one blasted big flame ones.

Then it was time to go to sleep. Then we went to sleep, I had a 7 hour sleep in my bed then I woke up. It was our last day at the Marae so we said goodbye to my uncle. 5hours later we went to go have a feed at a fish and chips restaurant. it was tasty and INCREDIBLY YUMMY! Then we went home.

to be a farmer

When I grow up I will be a farmer so that I grow vegetables fruits for lots and lots of hungry people. I will look after my animals too.I will feed them,I will find some where they can sleep too. I will have cows, sheep, pigs and goats. Every day I will plant seeds, give them some water until they grow as vegetables or fruits. I will feed the cows hay, I will feed the pigs apples, and I will feed my sheep with apples.

At the food tasting festival we had to make our food groups. There were the five major food groups, a mealed plate, breads, cereals, juices, and chocolate. We had to explain about the food groups  how it is healthy and how it's not. The first one was the 5 major food groups. We had to put the foods in the right place then we had to check it if they were right or wrong.Then we had to do the mealed plate one, we should have half vegetables and fruits and a quarter off grain and proteins.

Then it was the bread one. It was about that what has the most nutrient, the refined grain is not healthy because it has less nutrient but the whole grain has the most nutrient. Then we had to look at the breads, there were white bread and brown bread with seeds. The breads with the seeds are healthy because they have the

most nutrient. Then we went to the cereals, we had to talk about that what is the healthiest cereal. The porridge was the healthy cereal in out off all the other cereals. Because it has 0.1 grams of sugar in it. And you can make porridge at home.

Then we went to the juice there were orange juice and mango juice, they had to decide which they have and which is the healthy juice. The orange juice is the healthy one because it has less sugar in it. Then they had to taste the juices.

Then the last one was the chocolate we made it last because we didn't have time to make the chocolate. And that was all off our food groups.

Breakfast is important because it makes us fit and makes our body fill up. It makes our brain be smart and have knowledge. If you have no breakfast and your early at school you get to have breakfast at school. If you had no breakfast you won't have any fuel to start up your bodies and then you will not learn much because your brain and your body are not working hundred percent. If you don't have breakfast you

won't have any energy.

It is important that you have breakfast every day because it makes you get smart.

It is important to add the four major food groups.

And you can get hydrated by drinking water. You are not allowed to drink fizzy drinks that means you won't get hydrated. Breakfast is the most important thing to have for every morning so make good choices.
